Why Sweat Smells Like Vinegar?

Hi, I’m a young man of 34 years. For a few days I realize I have a probable acid sweating. I realize that sweat on my armpits smells like vinegar and I can’t remember having it before. I always had a normal sweating and I never noticed that it had a bad smell

Is it possible that the problem derives from food? Let me explain: in recent times, between birthday parties and summer evenings, I have exaggerated a little with fried foods, meat and even a few glasses of wine too much and have eaten little fiber foods. Are there any foods to prefer or others to avoid? what else can I do as a solution?

Dear User, the diet itself does not involve a change in the Ph (degree of acidity) of the sweat which, however, if it has a strong smell must necessarily be considered more acidic. The chemical component of sweat depends on various other factors and its increase (hyperhidrosis) is often attributed to environmental factors and psychophysical stress.
